As my customers know, I enjoy experimenting with simple forms. I particularly like circles and squares. The colors in this painting are mostly bright, and the piece represents a pure minimalist approach. The colors are all mixed hues, and I have attempted to combine them in somewhat of an unaccustomed way. The joy comes from repetition with variation. Each of the nine units feels independent yet cooperative. Overall, the piece is intended to be harmonious and uplifting.
